Michael P. Lyons

Michael Lyons is one of the founding partners of Deans & Lyons, LLP and concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation, representing plaintiffs and defendants. Lyons has represented individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 1000 corporations in a diverse array of civil litigation matters including, but not limited to, cases involving business disputes and commercial litigation, construction, products liability, premises liability, professional liability, oil and gas, and wrongful death and personal injury.

Lyons' experience handling wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury matters includes numerous cases involving medical malpractice and products liability, automotive and trucking crashes, industrial accidents, oil field accidents, aviation crashes, and premises accidents. Lyons' commercial litigation experience includes cases involving construction litigation, tortious interference, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, and breach of contract.

Lyons has extensive trial experience involving complex high exposure cases relating to automotive and pharmaceutical product defect cases, premises liability, construction, medical malpractice, and trucking and automotive crashes.

In addition to pursuing outstanding results on behalf of clients, Lyons has invested significant time in service of his community as a leader within the Dallas Bar Association. Lyons currently serves as a member of the Courthouse Committee, Law in the Schools and Community Committee, and Law Day Committee for the Dallas Bar Association. In 2010, he was elected as a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation, and in 2008 Lyons was recognized by Dallas CBS affiliate KTVT Channel 11 as a "Texan with Character" for his philanthropic work in the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex.
