Gregory L. Deans
Gregory Deans combines extensive experience on major cases with a commitment to personalized representation for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and individuals.
Deans has nearly two decades of experience handling complex civil matters for plaintiffs and defendants. His national practice focuses on products liability litigation, mass tort, catastrophic injury/death cases, oil & gas litigation and commercial litigation. He also has extensive trial experience handling asbestos litigation for manufacturers and premises owners, as well as serving as National Coordinating Counsel. In this role he is responsible for supervising local counsel from coast to coast. Deans is integrally involved in the development of expert testimony, working with scientists and medical doctors to expose junk science and force opponents to adhere to a strict evidentiary standard of proof. His aggressive motion practice on behalf of asbestos clients has helped drive the causation law and science forward.
Before moving to Dallas, Deans practiced extensively in Houston, focusing on Maritime and Admiralty claims as well as cases arising under the Jones Act and Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act (LHWCA). He remains active in the Houston and Gulf Coast legal communities and frequently handles cases in that part of the state.
